Tools for Schools searches for Teen Activists and this one stood out.
Sahar Dinar, a seventeen year old girl when thinking about whats going to happen next and worrying about life, is dedicated to her project since 10 years old. She went back to Darfur, after living in America four years, to visit her family. Sahar is a native of Darfur, Sudan. She returned in 2003 to the Civil War. She was forced to hide under her bed when hear gun shots. This ongoing genocide has resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths, mostly civilians, and more than 2.7 million people who have been forced to flee their homes, according to the United Nations Refugee Agency.
